Gholam Reza Ghaffari, the cultural deputy of the Ministry of Science, said Ferdowsi University of Mashhad will host the event.
Speaking at a press conference in Tehran on Saturday, he said more than 640 students from different universities and higher education centers will attend the festival, which includes competitions.
They have made it to the national round after shining in the preliminary rounds at the university and regional levels, he said.
Ghaffari noted that some 350,000 students had taken part in the first round.
He added that promoting the Quranic cultures is the main objectives of the festival.
