Take a look at the readiness of the Nigerian people for the month of God

 In this report, we intend to examine the rituals and customs of the Nigerian people in preparing for the month of God's feast and its commonalities with other Islamic countries.

 According to the Al-Kawthar World Network - Tehran: Nigeria, which is known as having the most ethnic and tribal customs in the African continent, in addition to its official religion, which is Christianity, includes religions and ethnic groups, of which Islam is one of the religions.  It is not unlucky and there are more Muslims living in northern Nigeria than in the southern parts of the country.

 With the start of Islamic religious events, the Muslim people of northern Nigeria are preparing for these ceremonies and events, which can be referred to as the holy month of Ramadan.

 * Ramadan and its traditional rituals in Nigerian cities *

 Ebrahim Hadi, a student living in Isfahan, said about the traditional rituals and ceremonies of Nigerian Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan: "The holy month of Ramadan is very important among Nigerian Muslims, so that the people of this country like Iranians celebrate Nowruz one week before  The blessed moon cleans their houses (moving house) and goes to the market to buy clothes and give a new color to their lives.

 He added: "Before the beginning of Ramadan, Muslims try to renew and change their home appliances and life structure."

 This Nigerian student living in Iran emphasizes: It is a very famous custom that is performed in the cities of northern Nigeria (interpretation of the Qur'an), in order for Muslims to try to make their lives more spiritual and after praying in mosques and  The houses themselves begin to recite the Qur'an, and this tradition is very similar to the nights of revival.

 Ebrahim Hadi added: "Muslim religious ceremonies for the holy month of Ramadan are mostly performed in the cities of Kano, Ibadan, Zampara and Sokoto."

 He added: "Visiting is very important among Nigerian Muslims and they go to see their relatives in any situation to congratulate the month of Ramadan."

 * Tatsheh tradition among Nigerian Muslims during Ramadan *

 The Nigerian student living in Iran continues: In the holy month of Ramadan, the tradition of satire and performing theatrical and funny movements known as Tatsheh has many fans among Muslims in the offending areas of the city as a street and house to house.

 Ebrahim Hadi continued: "It is a tradition that a group of satirists in the city come to the houses of Muslims and make their lives happy by performing funny ceremonies and celebrate Eid with Muslims."

 * Drumming for children and teenagers during the holy month of Ramadan *

 Rahim Hadi, another Nigerian student living in Iran, said in the interview: "During Ramadan, a group of teenagers and children wake up to start drumming. This tradition has ancient roots among Nigerian Muslims."  .

 He added: "Performing drum-playing ceremonies and hymns in various mosques in Nigeria during the holy month of Ramadan is another program of the Muslim people of this country."
