Hijr (Stoneland)
This Surah takes its name from v. 80.
Baqara
Why the name AL-BAQARAH? AL-BAQARAH (the Cow) has been so named from the story of the Cow occurring in this Surah (vv. 67-73).
Bani Israel (Children of Israel/The night journey)
This Surah takes its name (Bani Israil) from v. 4. But this name is merely a distinctive appellation like the names of many other surhas and not a descriptive title and does not mean that "Bani Isra'il" is the theme of this Surah
Al-An'am (Livestock)
This Surah takes its name from verses 136, 138 and 139 in which some superstitious beliefs of the idolatrous Arabs concerning the lawfulness of some cattle and the unlawfulness of some others have been refuted.

The Surah takes its name AL-ANFAL (The Bounties) from the first verse.

Commencement of Imam Mahdi’s Imamate (Part 1)
Imam Mahdi (A.S), the last in the line of the Twelve Ithna Ashari Imams was born on 15th Shaban 255 Hijri in Samarra, Iraq. His father was the Eleventh Imam Hassan Askari (A.S) and his mother was Nargis Khatoon, grand daughter of the Emperor of Rum.
Birth of Hazrat Mahdi (a.t.f.s.)
Hakeemah Khatoon, the aunt of Imam Hassan al-Askari (a.s.) narrates the incident of Imam Mahdi’s (a.t.f.s.) birth as follows:
The Prophet (PBUH) practiced only that which was revealed to him
