Leader's Hajj Message - Apr 23, 1996

Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, delivered a message to this year's hajj pilgrims. The following is the full text of this message issued on April 23, 1996.

What is Tajweed?

The Arabic word ‘Tajweed’ is derived from its root word: ‘j-w-d’, which means to ‘make well’, ‘make better’, or ‘to improve’. There are several simple rules of tajweed which must be observed by students intending to learn Quran.

Why do we Dream? (part1)

‘God takes men"s souls at the time of their death, and the soul which does not die, He takes in sleep. Then He keeps the soul that is destined to die at that time and returns the others to life for a set period.’ (39:42)
