Resurrection
Imam Ali's Advice to Malek (Part 4)
Never Tyrannize the Servants of God I swear by God if I remain wakeful at night by standing on the prick of Sa'adan while my hands and feet have been shackled and pulled over the pricks and brushwood in the desert, I consider this act more favorable than meeting God and His Messenger on the Day of Resurrection while I have tyrannized some of the servants of God or usurped some things of worldly things.
Resurrection
We believe that Allah, the Exalted, will revive all people after their death on a certain day which he has promised them, and that He will then reward the obedient and punish the wrong-doers.
Doctrine of Bodily Resurrection
This is one of the fundamentals of Islam, as it is said in the Qur'an: What! Does man reckon We shall not gather his bones. Yes, indeed, We are able to shape again his fingers. (75;4)
There is no prayer without the Opening of the Book (fatihah al-kitab)
After the recital of Takbirah al-Ihram, Surah al-Fatihah is to be recited and if this surah is not recited in the prayer, the prayer is invalid. “There is no prayer without the Opening of the Book {fatihah al-kitab}.”(1)
The sinners’ hearts are pounding with fear
On the Resurrection Day, all people are brought to the court of the Just Allah in order to see the consequence of their deeds.
No one has the Power to Speak on the Resurrection Day
It is narrated from Imam Sadiq (A.S) that: ""I swear to God that on the Day of Judgment, we shall be allowed, and will, speak." He was then asked: ""What would you say on that day? ""He answered: ""We shall praise our lord, greet our prophet, and intercede for our followers, and the Lord would not reject our intercession.""
The Hell waits the Rebellious
On the Resurrection Day, all the people’s deeds shall be investigated and everyone will receive the consequence of his, or her, acts; and nobody shall face any injustice.
What is the Great News in the Surah An-Naba (The Tidings)?
This Surah, The Tidings, was revealed in Mecca and has 40 verses. The word "Naba" means"tiding" or "the great news". This Surah takes its name from its second verse.
Al-Qari'ah (The Stunning [Blow])
The Surah takes its name from its first wordal- qari'ah. This is not only a name but also the title of its subject matter, for the Surah is devoted to Resurrection.
'ABASA (He Frowned)
The Surah is so designated after the word`abasa with which it opens.
