What Is The Way To Prosperity?

Imam Ali (AS) said: I fear for you to have sunk in ignorance and vanity, because in the past you were plunged into directions which were not worthy of praise. But if you correct your ways in this life, you will become prosperous [1]. [1] Nahjul Balaghah, Sermon 178.

In Islam, everyone, even the Exalted Prophet (PBUH), are equal in the eye of law.

Equality in the Doctrine of the Noble Prophet (PBUH) The equality decreed by Islam and practically implemented by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is unique in the history of mankind. In the logic of the Holy Qur'an, human beings are all from one source and are the offspring of one single pair of parents without any difference among them.

The Principle of Patience and Endurance

Looking at the process of the call to Islam of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Mecca and then in Medina, one can easily perceive that patience and endurance had a fundamental role in it. Imam Khomeini's (R.A) analysis on this is eye opening:

AL-BALAD ([This] Countryside)

The Surah has been so named after the wordal balad in the first verse.
