Imam Ali(as),Unique Leader in the History of Mankind
The history of mankind has witnessed many leaders over the ages. Many of these leaders achieved leadership through might or inheritance and some were chosen as leaders because of certain outstanding qualities that they possessed.
The Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) is superior to all the prophets
Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S) narrates that whenever Jibrael visited the Prophet (PBUH), he used to sit politely like a slave. He never entered without obtaining the permission of the Prophet (PBUH)
The Surah of Muhammad
The Surah derives its name from the sentence wa amanu bi-ma nuzzila ala Muhammad-in of verse 2, thereby implying that it is the Surah in which the holy name of Muhammad (upon whom be Allah's peace and blessings) has occurred. Besides, it has another well known name "al-Qital" also, which is derived from the sentence wa dhukira fi-hal-qital of verse 20.
Is Moses (A.S) Superior to Muhammad (PBUH)?
It is narrated from Imam Sadiq (A.S) that a Jew asked the holy prophet (PBUH): “Whether you are superior or the prophet Moses to whom God used to speak and had revealed Torah to him and had made his walking stick a miracle and had split the sea for him and had always shadowed him under the clouds?”
No Prophet Would Come After Him
When Allah made Muhammad (PBUH) Prophet, He designated him as the "Last Prophet". For this reason, from the very beginning of his mission! The Prophet of Allah told the people that he was the "last of the prophets", and that no prophet would come after him.
Human Rights from the Viewpoint of Imam Sajjad (2)
Modern psychology has been able to confirm the Islamic viewpoint that man himself is not aware of the major part of his characteristics, and this results in self-contradictory or negative behaviour. For instance, when faced with a social problem, he sometimes resorts to an evil behavior, which he had not thought of before.
Imam Al-Mahdi Al-Muntadhar (a.s) (part 3)
As an example, Ali ibn Musa al-Rida (the eighth Imam) has said, in the course of a hadith, "The imam after me is my son, Muhammad and after him his son Ali, and after Ali his son, Hasan, and after Hasan his son Hujjat al-Qa'im, who is awaited during his occultation and obeyed during his manifestation.
Imam Al-Mahdi Al-Muntadhar (a.s) (part 2)
On the Appearance of the Mahdi In the discussion on prophecy and the imamate it was indicated that as a result of the law of general guidance which governs all of creation, man is of necessity endowed with the power of receiving revelation through prophecy, which directs him toward the perfection of the human norm and the well-being of the human species.
Imam Al-Mahdi Al-Muntadhar (a.s) (part 1)
The promised Mahdi, who is usually mentioned by his title of Imam-i 'Asr (the Imam of the "Period") and Sahib al-Zaman (the Lord of the Age), is the son of the eleventh Imam.
Commencement of Imam Mahdi's Imamate (Part 5)
My second story was from the lips of an Englishman, Col.Abdullah Baines. During the 2nd World War he was stationed at the Royal Air Force Base at Habbaniyah, a town some 22 miles south of Baghdad.
