Debt Self-compensation If the debtor denies the debt owed or avoids payment without any excuse, the lender has the right to recover his debt from the debtor’s property. Of course, if there is any law in this regard, it should be observed.

Mortgage / Pawning

Compensation for Safeguarding Articles in Pawn A pawnbroker cannot get a fee for safeguarding/storage of the articles in pawn. Moreover, it is a trick for getting ribā which is ḥarām.

Silent Partnership

A silent partnership contract should be confined to investing the capital in trade, i.e. buying and selling only.

Ṣulḥ

Binding Status of Ṣulḥ If the ṣulḥ is concluded in a proper manner, it should be binding on the owner. Thus, he has no right to revocation unless he has reserved the right to revoke the ṣulḥ.

Rules of Tayammum

What to Wipe in Tayammum During tayammum, one should wipe their forehead with hand palms until the tips of the fingers. They should wipe the hands' dorsal until the tips of the fingers.
