This is a combination of Achaemenid architecture and ornaments which has been built using rocks from Persepolis. It is home to the statues of Omar Khayyam, Abu-Raihan Biruni, Mohammad-Zakaria Razi, and Avicenna.

On 5 June 2009, the Iranian government presented the edifice to the UN offices in Vienna as a sign of peaceful scientific progress. It was unveiled on 9 June 2009 at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) by high ranking UN officials. This is to commemorate the contribution made by the people of Iran to knowledge and science and a message of peace and happiness by them to the world.

Each statue has been made to portray the skills of the scientist with a name plaque at the foot of each one also showing their birthdays in Persian and English.

Abu Raihan Mohammad Biruni was a famous astronomer who discovered the rotation of the earth. He is shown holding a globe.

Omar Ibn Ibrahim Khayyam Neyshabouri is the famous Iranian poet holding pen and paper.

Abu Bakr Muhammad bin Zakaria Razi, the famous chemist and discoverer of alcohol, is seen holding a jar.

And the great Iranian physician Ibn Sina (Avicenna) his holding his books.
