Principle of Confronting Oppressors
The Holy Qur'an called all the Muslims to legitimate defense and fighting against despotism and aggression and emphasized on it. Imam Khomeini (R.A) says in this regard:
The Principle of Patience and Endurance
Looking at the process of the call to Islam of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Mecca and then in Medina, one can easily perceive that patience and endurance had a fundamental role in it. Imam Khomeini's (R.A) analysis on this is eye opening:
The Principle of Patience and Endurance
The Muslims wanted to attack the Jew, but the Noble Prophet said: No, don't lay a hand on him; I know how to deal with my friend. Then he started talking to the Jew kindly and patiently. He showed so much patience that the man reverted to Islam there and then and said: An ordinary man can't have such patience and you surely must be chosen by God and a Prophet. This patience is only the characteristic of the Prophets.
Prophet Muhammad’s Guards
It is natural that guarding the Right and the Righteous people is an obligatory duty in Islam and, one must not avoid such an important responsibility by confining one to mere saying, “God may bless and keep them safe.”
Reflections on Munajat Sha'baniyyah (1)
Sha’ban, the eighth month of the Islamic calendar, is considered the month of Allah’s mercy and pleasure.
Reflections on Munajat Sha'baniyyah (2)
Allah knows us extremely well. At times, it may take a person hours or even days to reflect and identify what is going on in his heart
Reflections on Munajat Sha'baniyyah (3)
Some people have managed to perform good, and in return Allah gives them His mercy
Reflections on Munajat Sha'baniyyah (4)
Reflecting on this prayer and other prayers, a question may arise: why is it that most of the time the end results are asked from God
THE PROPHET (PBUH) A WITNESS OF GOD FOR PEOPLE (Part 1)
As we see in the twenty first verse of the sacred surah of Ahzab (The Allies), the Great Prophet (PBUH) of Islam is a good sample for humanity up to the Doom's Day. Taking into account the contents of this Surah and many other verses in the Holy Qur’an, professor Hussein Ansarian in his book “the land of lovers” elaborates on this important issue.
THE PROPHET (PBUH) A WITNESS OF GOD FOR PEOPLE (Part 2)
It is upto the people to follow the great Prophet (PBUH) closely and learn what the Holy Qur’an taught him. In this way people could arrive at the worldly prosperity and could benefit abundance in the Hereafter. In doing this, they could avoid going astray. God Has made our obligations clear. There is no excuse for anybody, however.
