A silent partnership contract should be confined to investing the capital in trade, i.e. buying and selling only.

Ṣulḥ

Binding Status of Ṣulḥ If the ṣulḥ is concluded in a proper manner, it should be binding on the owner. Thus, he has no right to revocation unless he has reserved the right to revoke the ṣulḥ.

Business/Occupation

It is recommended for a business man to learn the rules of daily transactions. In fact, if due to ignorance, he may necessarily contradict the laws of Shariah, then it is obligatory upon him to learn.
